We have delivered our Residential Window Cleaning service to every type of Residential property. From single bedroom studio apartments through to sprawling multi level mansions.
The length of time each property takes to complete depends on a number of factors:
- The scope of work. Are we cleaning the internal and external sides of the windows or the external only. Are their any balustrades of pool fencing to clean.
- Number of levels, the volume of window panes, the degree of difficulty accessing each window(s) and the current condition of the glass effect the length of time to complete the work.
- Beachside properties with windows exposed to salty air can take multiple washes to clean as can homes exposed to dusty, dirt roads.
- The size of the property. Compact properties like a Flat or Unit take less time to manouvere around than multi level, 5 bedroom homes with pool fencing and glass balcony balustrades throughout.
As a guide,
- Small Units or Apartment can take 1 – 2 hours;
- Single level 3 bedroom homes: 3 – 4 hours;
- Two level 4 bedroom homes: 4 – 6 hours
Note: We often work in teams of two or more to reduce our time on site and allow our customers to then get on with their day.
For maximum results we recommend cleaning both the internal and external sides of all windows and glass throughout the property. This includes pool fencing, balcony balustrades and staircase glass.
Cleaning both sides of all windows and glass panels freshens up the ENTIRE property by providing a cleaner, clearer, sharper finish.
Having said that, it is not essential to clean both sides of the glass. If the property is regularly maintained then alternating an internal and external clean is a cost effective way of maintaining a good looking property.

Commercial Window Cleaning
We clean shopfront windows in a matter of minutes, small offices and supermarkets in a few hours, schools over a few days and 55,000 seat Stadiums over the course of a few weeks. It all depends on the size of the job and what’s involved to complete it.
The length of time each commercial window cleaning job takes will firstly depend on the scope of work to perform. Are we cleaning the internal and external sides of all windows or just the external side? Are there any internal glass partitions to include as are often found in schools, offices and hospitals. If so, this can add further time to the job.
Overall though, the length of time depends on the scope of work, the size of the property, the number of levels, the volume of window panes, the degree of difficulty accessing each window(s), the current condition of the glass. Compact properties take less time to manouvere around, whereas expansive properties like schools, hospitals and large office complexes take longer to move around.

Exterior Window Cleaning
Window cleaning is our bread and butter; we are experts in knowing how to clean non-standard windows such as stained glass or special tints. All our operators carry the specialist tools and products on board. We can discuss any special window cleaning needs at the time of quoting.
This gets the best results as you can literally see straight through the glass when both sides have been cleaned. There is no hard and fast rule though, and it will often depend on the customer’s budget. Many customers think that they can do the inside work themselves, but when they see the results we can achieve, they generally hand the full responsibility over to us.
Most tinting can be cleaned successfully with the right tools, expertise and adherence to the glass manufacturers instructions. You can rest assured that we have the professional tools and products designed to clean tinted windows properly.
Interior Window Cleaning
We will remove curtains and blinds as we go around. We will take all reasonable care, but cannot be held responsible for blinds and curtains that are old, worn out, brittle, broken or particularly sensitive and susceptible to damage. If your blinds or curtains fall into this category, please advise our team ahead of time.

Cleaning windows in the rain doesn’t affect the quality of the job. It just makes it uncomfortable for our staff. If it is raining heavily, and the job involves cleaning the external side of the windows, then we will work on indoor windows or covered areas until it clears. If it’s set in then we will generally re-schedule. From a safety perspective we will not allow our staff to work above ground on wet or slippery surfaces.
Call our office as soon as possible – 1300 885 751, and we will reschedule the cleaning to another day and time, however 48 hours notice would be appreciated. We do understand that circumstances can change for people at the last minute. At this stage we don’t have a cancellation fee.
